Meet Cornelia – Ambassador at Boo Boo Living
Boo Boo Living’s Ambassador
Cornelia is a key part of our team, making sure that both new and returning guests feel welcome and at ease. With her intuitive sense of service and eye for detail, she’s the go-to person for everything from practical questions to personalized tips on how to make the most of your stay with us. As an ambassador, Cornelia is responsible for building personal connections with our guests – both before and during their stay. She often serves as a bridge between the practical and the personal side of the long-stay experience.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I do a little bit of everything! I manage the Boo Boo Living inbox and spend most of my day replying to guest questions, requests, and inquiries. I also answer phone calls. I have a very close relationship with our housekeeping team to ensure we always deliver the best experience for our guests. I visit Boo Boo Living at least once a week to make sure everything is in order. During holidays, I also decorate and add some extra touches to the lobby to make it extra cozy. I’m in daily contact with our biggest guest segment – our corporate clients.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
How much you grow and develop every day, and how many amazing people you get to meet. There’s also a lot of room to grow within what I do.
How do you work to create a sense of comfort and trust for your guests?
Quick responses, always being attentive to our guests’ needs, and showing genuine interest. I’ve gotten really good at tailoring solutions and giving recommendations.
What usually surprises guests the most (in a good way)?
The central location – being so close to the sea, nature, and the city. Also, how homey, modern, and well-cleaned everything is.
What do you think makes Boo Boo Living stand out compared to other accommodation options?
We are a long-stay accommodation that adapts to the guest’s needs and wishes. Boo Boo Living is fully digitalized, but we’ve tailored the digital guest journey to still feel personal – from pre-arrival to check-out. Geographically, we’re close to the sea and nature, and only 40 minutes from the city.
Why do you think Lidingö is a great place for long stays?
There’s easy access to nature, the city, grocery stores, and some really great restaurants. It’s a peaceful and pleasant area.
Any personal tips for someone moving in for the first time?
Be prepared that we’re an unstaffed hotel, where check-in is done online. However, we make it clear early in the guest journey that we’re always available by phone or email.
What’s the best thing about Lidingö?
The charm of being so close to the city by boat, while still enjoying proximity to the sea, nature, and beautiful walking paths. It’s the perfect balance for someone wanting both city access and a peaceful environment. There are also lots of cozy cafés and restaurants, and grocery stores close by.
Do you have a local favorite you always recommend?
I always recommend a lovely restaurant by the water called Lulu it’s absolutely amazing.
